Day 1: Delhi to Bagdogra (by air) - Darjeeling
Start over your journey on the tour of North East with Bhutan by boarding a flight from Delhi to reach Bagdogra Airport. Upon your arrival, you will get an on-road transfer to Darjeeling which takes almost 3 hrs drive. On your arrival in Darjeeling, get assisted to reach your hotel to complete all the check-in formalities and get freshen up. The rest of the day is leisure for activities of your interest. Stay overnight in Darjeeling.
Day 2: A day in Darjeeling
Today, kick start your day by marking a visit to Tiger Hill where you will enjoy the breath-taking sunrise view. Also, mark your visit to the Ghoom Monastery. Return back to the hotel to have breakfast and then get ready to go on-board the famous toy train. While enjoying your train trail, you will also go up to Ghoom. In the afternoon, you will continue exploring the city which includes the Tibetan Refugee Centre and the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. After having a fun-filled day in Darjeeling return back to the hotel followed by your overnight stay.
Day 3: Darjeeling to Pemayangtse (Pelling)
After breakfast, begin with your further journey to Pelling. Upon your arrival at Pelling, get transferred to the hotel to get freshen-up. Later, proceed to explore the marvelous attractions of Pemayangtse Monastery, which is a famous ancient Buddhist monastery in Sikkim. It was dated back to the 17th-century and still retain its valuable architecture in the same way as of then. Stay overnight in Pemayangtse.
Day 4: Pelling to Gangtok
Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and hit the road that leads to Gangtok. Arrival and get transferred to the hotel to get freshen-up. In the afternoon, discover the mind-blowing attractions of Gangtok which includes the Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom, Chorten, world-famous Rumtek Monastery, Enchey monastery, and Research Institute of Tibetology. Stay overnight in Gangtok.
Day 5: Gangtok to Lachung
Today, get an assisted drive to Lachung by road and enjoy your journey. En-route halt at Kabilang Tsok which is surrounded beautifully and offers amazing fun activities to Naga Waterfalls and the Holy Rock at Chungthang - a small village area. Continue towards Lachung and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Day excursion to Yumthang
Have breakfast and then start over your day excursion to Yumthang Valley - a spectacular valley having the breath-taking backdrop of the Himalayan Mountains. It is usually referred to as “the Valley of Flowers” where you will spend some time while enjoying its scenic vistas. Get indulge in some adventure activities like zorbing or hiking. Return back to Lachung followed by your overnight stay.
Day 7: Lachung to Gangtok
This day is marked as your drive towards Gangtok after breakfast at the hotel in Lachung. On the way, visit Kanchendzonga from Singhik Point which is subjected to its weather conditions. Also, visit Phodang Monastery - a Buddhist monastery located on the way. Presently, it is the abode of around 250 monks. Continue towards Gangtok and check-in to the hotel. Rest of the day is leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 8: Gangtok to Phuentsholing (Bhutan Border)
Start of day 8th on this tour is scheduled as your drive to Phuentsholing - a small town located on the border of the southern side of Bhutan. Upon arrival, check-in to the hotel. The remaining day is at your discretion whereby you can do many interesting activities like sightseeing, take a local tour, interact with the locals, etc. Stay overnight in Phuentsholing.
Day 9: Phuentsholing to Thimphu
Today get an assisted transfer to Thimphu - the capital city of the kingdom of Bhutan. Upon your arrival, check-in at your pre-booked hotel to get freshen up. The remaining day is leisure, you may proceed to admire its natural beauty or observe the local lifestyle and interact with them. Stay overnight in Thimphu.
Day 10: A day in Thimphu
Post breakfast, you will visit the National Library which has a great collection of ancient Buddhist manuscripts, the School of Thangka paintings, and the Traditional medicine institute. Later, pass through the Trashi Chhoe Dzong where the administrative headquarters of ministers is located. In the afternoon, take a drive to Dochula - located 23 kilometers away from Thimphu. The snow-clad peaks of Mt. Gangkar Puensum, Table Mountain, Jeje Khang, Masakhang, and Gangcheyta could be spotted. Stay overnight in Thimphu.
Day 11: Thimphu to Paro
After breakfast, take an assisted drive to Paro. On arrival get escorted to the hotel and then visit to Drukgyel Dzong, on your way witness the local houses constructed in traditional styles. Also, spot the famous Taktsang Monastery from the way to Drukgyel Dzong. In the afternoon, visit the National Museum or Ta Dzong - an ancient watch tower having a fine collection of Thangka paintings, artifacts, and weapons. Later stroll leisurely to Rinpung Dzong - the administrative headquarter of Paro district. Stay overnight in Paro.
Day 12: Paro to Delhi & departure
On the last day of this tour, you will be transferred to Paro airport to board a flight for Delhi Airport from where you may proceed for your onward destination.
