The Pushkar Fair is the famous cultural carnival that lasts for 9 days of Kartik Month. This fair takes place over the sandy stretch of desert in Pushkar which gets relive with the crowd including international as well as local tourists. Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Delhi

Welcome to India

Get assisted by the tour representative from Indian Exotic Travel to get transferred to the pre-booked hotel at Delhi.

As soon as you get refreshed, we will take you to the Akshardham temple for a beautiful light and sound show that elaborates the very touching story about Life.

Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi - Mandawa

In the morning, drive towards Mandawa and transfer to the hotel. Mandawa is widely famous for its heritage havelis and frescos paintings. Stroll through this place and enjoy it sightseeing. Overnight stay in Mandawa.

Day 3: Mandawa - Bikaner

In the morning, depart for Bikaner and upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Proceed for sightseeing and exploring Junagarh Fort, Lalgarh Palace, Karni Mata Temple, and Bhandasar Jain Temple. Bikaner is also known as Camel Country for the breeding of camels. Desert Safari can be enjoyed. Overnight stay in Bikaner.

Day 4: Bikaner - Jaisalmer

In the morning, depart for Jaisalmer, the golden city. Get an assisted transfer to the hotel. In the evening, you may enjoy shopping in the local shops selling handicrafts, puppets, leather products, silver ornaments, etc. Overnight stay in Jaisalmer.

Day 5: Jaisalmer

In the morning, proceed for sightseeing and explore Jaisalmer Fort, Patwon ki Haveli, Nathmalji ki Haveli, and Salim Singh ki Haveli. In the afternoon, visit Sam Sand Dunes and enjoy the Camel Safari or Jeep Safari during the sunset. Catch the glimpse of magnificent views while enjoying the desert safari. You may choose to stay at the Desert Camp for experiencing luxury tented accommodation where you get to sleep under the sky. Overnight stay in Jaisalmer.

Day 6: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur

In the morning, depart for Jodhpur after having breakfast. Upon arrival, get an assisted transfer to the hotel. Proceed for the sightseeing of Jodhpur, also known as the Blue City due to the blue-painted architecture in the city. Some people also call Jodhpur, the Sun City for the sunny weather throughout the year.

Proceed to explore the tourist attractions in Jodhpur - Mehrangarh Fort located at the top of the hills, Umaid Bhawan Palace, a royal residence of Jodhpur rulers. Another attraction is Jaswant Thada which is a royal cenotaph.

In the evening, stroll around the Clock Tower and visit the local shops which are popular for Mathania Red spice, bandhani fabrics, mojdis, handicrafts, puppets, etc. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

Day 7: Jodhpur - Kota (by flight) - bundi

Board a flight for Kota from Jodhpur Airport.

After arriving at the airport, teh escorting tour driver will get you transferred to the Bundi town which is just an hour drive away from Kota.

Day 8: Bundi Sightseeing - Pushkar

Bundi is a heritage town which lies in the Hadoti region of Rajasthan. The Bundi Fort, Taragarh Fort, Raniji ki Baori, Sukhmahal and Badal Mahal are the major attractions of this place. This small town was once the power center in Hadoti region and was ruled by brave Rajput maharajas who gave this place a special mention in the books of history.

Afterward, proceed for the sightseeing of Pushkar. Visit the Brahma Temple, a popular Hindu Brahma Temple that is rarely found and is dedicated to the lord of creation. Spend some time at Pushkar Lake surrounded by 52 bathing ghats. You may also take a dip into the lake. It is believed that taking a dip into this lake will wash away your sins. Day 9: Pushkar

The following day is scheduled for witnessing the colorful Pushkar Fair which held every year in the month of November during Karthik Poornima (full moon). Several competitions and events are organized. A large number of cattle owners visit this fair to sell and buy livestock such as horses, camels, goats, sheep, and cows. All of them are well-dressed in colorful and traditional attire. Enjoy the activities of the fair and shopping of handicrafts, puppets, and souvenirs. Overnight stay in Pushkar.

Day 10: Pushkar

The following day is scheduled for exploring the fair. Enjoy participating in certain activities at the fair. Overnight stay in Pushkar.

Day 11: Pushkar - Jaipur

In the morning, depart for Jaipur and get an assisted transfer to the hotel. Get freshen up and proceed to Jaipur. Arrival and transfer to the hotel to get freshen-up.

Enjoy the sightseeing of the Amber Fort and witnessing its scenic views. Later, explore Jal Mahal which comprises of 5 stories where the bottom 4 floors are submerged into the Man Sagar Lake. Visit Jantar Mantar, the largest observatory in India. Admire the beauty of City Palace, a royal residence of kings. The last stop is at Hawa Mahal, also known as Wind Palace. Day 12: Jaipur to Delhi & Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for New Delhi with your tour driver. Well nothing last forever, but the memories earned during this tour will last forever in your mind.
