The forest is not just old, it's ancient!
Situated in the tranquil land of Central India, a place covered with bushes and ruins from a bygone era is not just fabulous, but the most outstanding feature of this place is that it is one among the 8 places in the world that houses Natural Forts of India. Before converting this place into a national park, it has seen amazing times with meetings and sheltering to Buddhist Monks, serving as their activity ground where the saints and scholars have preached under the shade of trees that are present even today in this park. During the reign of Maharaja of Reva (situated closest to the park) this place was the hunting ground for the king and his guests. The important fact that makes this place best among all is the statue of lying Vishnu named Shesh Shaiyya in the dense green interiors of the jungle called as Tala Zone said to be existing since time immemorial.
What to expect:
Caves are the most distinguishing feature of this place which are known to be created by the monks during their stays in this jungle.
